Admission Requirements

Prerequisites: Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program

Prerequisite courses may be completed at any regionally-accredited college or university, and must reflect a minimum grade of “C” in all courses. Students must maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale. Please consult your advisor regarding a study plan for prerequisites.

US History
Developmental Psychology
Statistics
Nutrition
General Chemistry with laboratory (4-5 semester hours)
Microbiology with laboratory (4-5 semester hours)
Human Anatomy with laboratory (4-5 semester hours)
Human Physiology with laboratory (4-5 semester hours)

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university

A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0

A grade of "C" or better in all prerequisite courses
A science GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0
All prerequisite courses must be completed prior to application
Computer literacy and access to a computer prior to instruction

**The Foreign Language requirement may be met by two semesters of the
same language in college or two years of the same language in high school.
