Glendale Adventist
Healthcare at a Higher Level
Glendale Adventist Medical Center has been
a part of the Glendale community since 1905, when it
was owned and operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
People came from all over for the groundbreaking wellness
programs and established it as the “health resort
of choice.” Today, Glendale Adventist remains a
quality healthcare leader, with state-of-the-art technology
and compassionate professionals dedicated to helping
people physically, mentally and spiritually.
Glendale
Adventist is part of Adventist Health, a health system
that includes 18 hospitals and additional healthcare
organizations throughout California, Oregon, Washington
and Hawaii. It employs nearly 2,500 people, has a staff
of more than 650 physicians and is aided by 600 volunteers.

The clinical faculty members are adjunct
faculty to the OU College of Nursing, and meet all requirements
for education, practice and licensure. They work directly
with students and communicate frequently with online faculty,
for a highly supportive, interconnected experience.
Each clinical course has a corresponding online site where students can
find additional information, learning activities and guidelines for the
simulation lab and clinical experiences.
By
associating ourselves with the University
of Oklahoma’s College of Nursing,
we can offer students a unique educational
experience combined with an approach
to care that sets Glendale Adventist
Medical
Center apart from
others.
